Dominique aims to deliver exceptional value to the enterprise through best of breed consultancy and IT services. He worked for the larger financial and life science institutions in Zürich and Basel, and is familiar with the Waterfall, Agile and V-Shaped Software Development Life Cycle models, amongst others. He is a certified SCRUM master and has long experience with project governance, from requirements analysis to training and post deployment activities and according to ITIL to implement best practices for ITSM.
Dominique is customer and result driven, good at simplifying problems and at setting priorities. His PMO roles have also sharpened his communication, budgeting and cost controlling abilities. He has regulatory and compliance experience, in the pharmaceutical and banking industries, and is also willing to perk up these competences. Dominique has strong stakeholder, external partners, and teams (local and remote) management expertise acquired whilst working at Cognizant for 5 years and 15 years as independent contractor.
Last but not least and regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Dominique has already worked in or led international projects for more than 10 years, partly or completely outside of the business premises.

During his mandate at Cognizant, Dominique identified and was piloting IT activities that clients wished outsourced to Cognizant Shared Services.
As Application and Service Manager at Novartis in Basel (1 year and 8 months)
For harmonizing application and IT service management in Real Estate and Facility Services department. In charge of the Allegion/Interflex IF6040 and WinkeyNet applications enabling the physical access controls and key dispensers for the different Novartis sites in Rheinvalley. Since they are enabling the access to sensitive production areas, all operational processes and procedures had to comply with GxP, pharmaceutical Good Practices. His role was to assure that all IT activities were properly documented and tested, that incidents and service requests tickets were processed in due time and always in conformity with GxP. He performed the periodic incidents, changes, user account and audit trail reviews, disaster recovery scenario assessment and the associated service continuity reviews.
To support these ITSM activities, he used the BMC Remedy suite and the Novartis Innovation Center of Excellence (ICE) methodology and templates.
As a PMO at UBS in Zürich (1 year and 5 months)
Recruiting and staffing the Group Operations CtB programs. As part of a central PMO team with presence in CH, UK, US and APAC , he was providing end to end support to 30+ Line Managers with regard to recruiting and staffing of the Change the Bank programs and projects within Group Operations, an organization counting some 800 people and, only to mention one, responsible of the "WHITE" regulatory program aimed to split the bank into two legal entities. Leveraging the existing UBS HR processes and tools (mainly Beeline, BrassRing and SNOW), his PMO team established a framework using Tableau dashboards, including SLAs and head count and funding checks, to provide full transparency to Project/Program Managers, PMO’s and Line Managers for all the opened positions. The framework allowed the processing of almost 2’000 requests in less than 18 months, some immediately with existing resources, others via BPO preferred suppliers or through contractors, or through the hiring of permanent staff for the most critical roles. Daily interaction with all UBS HR departments and with external vendors, sound understanding of the market situation as well as regular meetings with the main programs were key for this role.

Testing and Implementation Manager for an international Human Resource program to unify the bank's different time management systems. Single point of contact between on site and offshore teams, establish test governance and strategy, make arrangements for project personnel to execute or supervise testing, but given the capacity of the resources he could not meet with the late given hard deadline (year end) and decision for a big-bang deployment.
Independent Consultant at Zurich Financial Services, ZÜRICH, Switzerland, 2007 - 2013
SME and owner of the test management tools to establish the Zurich Financial Services (ZFS) European Shared Testing Services (STS). Business project manager and application owner with 15 to 20 staff members in Europe, USA and Asia. Definition of SLAs, OLAs and their respective KPIs, coordinating but also challenging new operational teams such as a 24x7 cloud infrastructure support and an offshore application support teams. Building the first ZFS clustered and redundant platform in the cloud for optimal service availability, to finally lead and sign off the migration of more than 500 projects and more than 6’000 users to HP Application Lifecycle Management platform (ALM 11), within budget and time.
